"For Pete's Sake"

Why?

When the Hurricanes hit this year, I was heartbroken, watching from a computer screen 3000 miles away with no way to help...

"For Pete's Sake! there has to be something I can do."

But what can I do?

Earlier that week, I started production on a fall delivery for Deli Sport. So, I figured I can always donate a portion of the sales to a good cause (see below).

But there has to be more I can do.

Something more local...

My Fear...

My fear is that every time someone returns home to St. Petersburg, there will be a new corporate salad restaurant opening; while the beloved Burg Bars, Steves Taverns, and Ted Peters could become a thing of the past.

Without baseball next season, the local establishments that have shaped the flavor and style of our city will need our support more than ever.

This is how I thought I could contribute.

What We Do & How...

By Using a Percentage of Sales...

Every quarter, we’ll set aside a portion of our profits (see below) from sales to purchase gift cards from local restaurants. We’ll then distribute these gift cards to individuals in the community as gifts and to local retailers for in-store promotions.

By purchasing gift cards from local restaurants and donating them within the community; we strive to contribute to the stimulation, support, and growth of awareness for all the fantastic local flavors and establishments that have contributed to the development and transformation of our beloved home, St. Petersburg, creating the vibrant city it is today.

this is how we "Gift Back" to our Community

Additionally, we will be donating these gift cards to local retail businesses for them to use as a promotional tool to boost sales into their brick-and-mortar locations in St. Pete.

We will also be handing out gift cards in the neighborhood as we make our quartlerly rounds, hoping to introduce someone to a new favorite dining spot.

" I don't know of a better way that I can help the local economy other than going and putting the money directly into the register of the establishments. So my bright idea is to purchase gift cards from local businesses and then sharing them with the community; in hopes someone might find a new local favorite to support in the future. "
